Feldspar. Brenntag Specialties, Inc. has been appointed the national distributor for Pacer feldspar products produced in Custer, SD. These feldspar products are potassium (potash) feldspars that are used in ceramics and glass applications as a flux, and in coatings applications to provide abrasion resistance. Pacer produces 3 major particle sizes which are 200 mesh, 325 mesh, and 500 mesh.
Mica. Brenntag Specialties, Inc. has been appointed as an authorized distributor of Pacer's DakotaPURE muscovite micas in the Western region as well as portion of the Midwest region including southeastern WI, southwestern MI, IN, and IL. These muscovite mica products are produced at Custer, SD. The DakotaPURE micas range in median particle size from 10 microns to 60 microns. These products can be used in joint compounds, coatings, plastics, and adhesives.
