Our quality systems are driven by the ISO 9001:2008 standard. At present, our South Plainfield, NJ, Norcross, GA and Plainfield, IL sites are certified. All locations are working towards certification. |

Brenntag Specialties, Inc. has a long standing dedication to Responsible Distribution and its attendant goals of constant improvement in all areas of product stewardship- including environmental performance, human health awareness, and worker safety programs- and working with local, state and national organizations to increase awareness of the benefits of chemicals and the necessity for responsible use. ISO Quality and Responsible Distribution Programs have been audited by third party firms and continue to be in full compliance with regards tp all aspects. In fact several of the independent auditors used terms like "model program" and "a prevention culture" to describe our efforts. |
Environment, Health and Safety
Brenntag Specialties, Inc. strong commitment to environment, health, and safety is evidenced not only by our record, but also by the efforts our employees put into managing risk, reducing exposure and eliminating accidents, as well as near misses.
We constantly train and update our employees on all aspects of chemical handling and applicable laws and regulations. As chemicals are regulated by the Department of Transportation, the Environmental Protections Agency, the Occupational Health and Safety Administration and the Drug Enforcement Agency, we have staff specialists to track and translate all of these program requirements.
